It's Christmas!

It's that time of the year again! I'm just as excited as everybody else. Although my family choose not to organise an open-house for friends and family this year, but we do decorate our home a little bit. After all we perfectly understood Jesus Christ is the reason for the season. He should be the centre of this festivity, not the Christmas shopping, the Christmas presents nor Santa!

What I'm grateful for this year's Christmas is having such an amazing and yet a crazy life. There were lots of changes and challenges. Hopefully I'll have lots more blasts in 2015 (Amen to that!). Lastly, I want to wish everyone who is reading this blog have a BLESSED MERRY CHRISTMAS and Happy Holiday!

Here's my Christmas gift to all of you, a video...

JOBY UltraFit Sling Strap

After researching online for the best sling strap for a couple of months, I eventually made up my mind to purchase the JOBY UltraFit Sling Strap. I should have done this long time ago since the Canon neck strap is very uncomfortable to use while taking photos. Having been to some events as a photography enthusiast and a blogger, the experience has taught me to minimise as much discomforts as possible while shooting. There's no way one can stay focus in getting a good shot if you are suffering neck pain. I get muscles sore a lot these days after coming back from events which take a few days to cover, especially around the neck, shoulders and arms. Those who own a DSLR camera, you'd surely know how much weight you need carry around due to the bulky size. What more can I say about the heavy load when I'm on an assignment, having a DSLR camera strapped to me all the time is already quite a burden and that doesn't include the additional weight of other gadgets I carry inside a backpack.

The reason I choose a costly sling strap produced for JOBY is because of the SpeedCinch System which allows the strap to adjust in seconds with a simple pull as demonstrated in JOBY's Youtube video. The system helps us to capture moments in the nick of time. It also prevents your DSLR camera from bumping and swinging around using the strap lock. Besides, it's advisable to buy a good quality sling strap rather than a cheap one. Don't put your DSLR camera at risk just to save a few bucks by getting a cheap strap that doesn't guarantee your expensive equipment won't subject to heavy drop. It might cost you a lot more to repair the camera later.

I found it easy to install the strap to my Canon DSLR camera. I have a feeling I'll be using this strap for a long time. It surely meets my needs especially during an event or while travelling. To read more about the highly recommended JOBY UltraFit Sling Strap, kindly visit its website at http://joby.com/camera-straps/ultrafit-sling-strap-for-men#features_specs . It comes in two sizes, for men and women. I also include the video down below. Trenos Coffee

Garner, Aliey, Khairool and I recently went to Trenos Coffee to try out the food and drink at the new eatery in Kuching. I discovered this place on Instagram. Trenos Coffee situated next to 3rd Mile McDonald's, it was easy to find the place. We decided to gather here to celebrate Aliey's belated birthday. The night we were there it was a full house, most of the customers were either family or group of friends. The food was so good, especially the Trenos Signature Homemade Burger. The homemade burger was juicy, tender and seasoned to perfection. The portion was huge that we had to request the staff to cut it into half so that we could share. I did not order any coffee as I did not want to stay up all night, so I opted for Hot Chocolate. I also ordered for Grilled Pesto Chicken which was delicious too.

I would recommend this place to anyone, they definitely served great food and drinks at Trenos Coffee. One thing we all agreed was the staffs were really friendly and attentive, that one magical thing which not every eatery has. You guys may want to check out and follow them on their Instagram too: http://instagram.com/trenoscoffee/
